Amport Neighbourhood Plan- design codes-final report

In early July we posted the Final Draft Design Codes Report. This Report has now been finalised and approved by the Government’s agent, ‘Locality’, and is hereby posted on our PC website for the record attachments.asp (amportparishcouncil.org.uk) The purpose of this Report is to set out the design guidance and codes for future development planning in the Parish. It sits alongside the Neighbourhood Plan (NP) to give guidance to planning applicants preparing development proposals in the Parish, and underpins TVBC’s consideration of any such proposals. The Design Codes Report is a stand alone Report that (when published) and will go through independent examination and public consultation alongside the NP. Your Neighbourhood Planning Steering Group (NPSG) will translate the guidance to establish appropriate policies suggested by the Design Codes ‘guidance’. If you have comments that might support the NPSG’s consideration of the way in which the Design Codes Report should be embedded in the NP policies, you could provide helpful feedback to the NPSG (email ‘[email protected]’) or through your local WG lead.
