Pillhill Brook Watch

The Pillhill Brook is a headwater of the River Test in Hampshire. It is a classic spring fed chalk stream - one of only 250 chalk streams in the world. It rises on chalk in the parish of Kimpton and flowing through the parishes of Fyfield, Thruxton, Amport, Monxton, Abbotts Ann, before eventually feeding into the River Anton in the parish of Upper Clatford. These seven parishes recognised that a pan parish approach to the care and protection was needed.

The Pillhill Brook Association was set up at the beginning of 2023 and is a growing group of landowners and volunteers keen to help care for and protect the Pillhill Brook.  It was a natural step for the pan parishes to support the PBA. Visit www.pillhillbrook.org.uk to find out more about what the PBA are doing to care for and protect our wonderful chalk stream.
